1. About GenieCare™
GenieCare™ is a printer support programme provided by Printer Genie Ltd for eligible customers who purchase qualifying toner products from Printer Genie.
GenieCare™ is designed to provide practical printer support, troubleshooting guidance and maintenance advice to help customers keep their printers running efficiently.
GenieCare™ is not an insurance policy, maintenance contract, managed print service, warranty extension or engineer call-out service.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for GenieCare™, customers must:

Comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Printer Genie reserves the right to determine eligibility for GenieCare™.

Scan setup assistance

Network and connectivity troubleshooting

Support is normally provided by email and may occasionally be provided by telephone or other communication methods at Printer Genie's discretion.
4. What GenieCare™ Does Not Include
GenieCare™ does not include:

On-site engineer visits

Physical printer repairs

Remote access to customer computers or networks

Managed print services

Hardware installation services
-
Printer servicing
-
Guaranteed fault resolution

Software development or IT consultancy

Support for unrelated third-party equipment
Printer Genie may recommend additional parts, products, services or third-party support providers where appropriate.
5. Fair Usage Policy
GenieCare™ is intended to provide reasonable printer support to eligible customers.
Printer Genie reserves the right to limit, suspend or refuse support where usage is considered excessive, unreasonable or outside the intended scope of the programme.
Examples may include:

Repeated requests relating to the same unresolved issue

Excessive support requests

Requests unrelated to printer operation or maintenance

Abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour
Any fair usage decisions shall be made at the sole discretion of Printer Genie.
6. No Guaranteed Outcomes
While Printer Genie will make reasonable efforts to assist customers, GenieCare™ does not guarantee:

A successful repair

Resolution of every fault

Compatibility of all third-party products

Prevention of future printer problems

Specific response times

Continuous availability of support
Printer faults can have multiple causes and additional diagnosis, parts or services may be required.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers remain responsible for:

Backing up important data

Following manufacturer guidance

Safely installing any recommended parts or consumables

Verifying information before making business-critical decisions
Customers undertake any repairs or maintenance at their own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Printer Genie shall not be liable for:

Loss of profits

Loss of business

Loss of data

Indirect or consequential losses

Printer downtime

Costs arising from customer actions based on support advice
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
9. Programme Changes
Printer Genie may modify, suspend or discontinue GenieCare™ at any time.
Any changes will apply from the date they are published on the Printer Genie website.
10. Privacy
Any personal information provided in connection with GenieCare™ will be handled in accordance with Printer Genie's Privacy Policy.
Customers should avoid sending confidential, sensitive or unnecessary personal information when requesting support.
