Install & Troubleshooting Notes

• Power on the printer and open the toner access door as shown in the user guide.
• Remove the old cartridge, gently rock the new toner from side to side to distribute the toner, then install it firmly until it clicks into place.
• If the display shows messages such as “Non-HP supply installed” or similar, follow the on-screen prompts to confirm “OK”, “Continue”, or “Use Anyway” (wording varies by model).
• For light print, streaks, or banding, run a cleaning or calibration routine from the printer menu and print several test pages.
