Installation Notes

Handle the image transfer kit with care. Do not touch the belt surface. Skin oil, scratches or dust on the belt can cause print quality faults.

  1. Power off the printer and disconnect it from the mains.
  2. Open the access panels as required and remove toner cartridges if needed for access.
  3. Remove the existing image transfer kit carefully, keeping it level where possible.
  4. Unpack the replacement C9734B kit only when ready to fit it.
  5. Install the new image transfer kit without touching the belt surface.
  6. Reinstall toner cartridges and close all panels.
  7. Power on the printer and run a colour registration calibration.
  8. Reset the transfer kit counter if the printer still displays a transfer kit life warning.
