Installation Notes

Handle the transfer belt with care. Do not touch the belt surface — even small amounts of skin oil or debris can cause print quality issues. Keep the belt in its packaging until you are ready to fit it.

  1. Power off the printer and disconnect from the mains.
  2. Open the front or top access panel and remove the toner cartridges to access the transfer belt.
  3. Release the belt locking levers/screws as per your model's service guidance and lift the old belt clear.
  4. Check the surrounding rollers and cartridge bays for toner contamination and clean before fitting the new belt.
  5. Insert the new transfer belt carefully — do not touch the belt surface.
  6. Reinstall toner cartridges and close all panels.
  7. Power on and run a colour registration calibration from the printer menu.
  8. If a supplies warning persists after fitting, reset via the service menu — contact GenieCare™ Expert Support if you need help locating this.
