This is a substantial floor-standing unit (87 kg). Unlike small clip-on accessories, we recommend two people or a professional installer for unpacking and positioning, and adequate floor space alongside the printer before delivery.

1. Power off the printer and disconnect from the mains.
2. Position the finisher unit alongside the printer's output side, allowing clearance for trays and doors to open fully.
3. Dock the finisher to the printer's output bridge and secure as per the Installation Guide.
4. Reconnect the printer to the mains.
5. Power on — the printer should automatically detect the accessory and configure it.
6. If the accessory is not recognised, check the printer driver is updated to reflect the new output device, and confirm the connection at the output bridge is fully seated.

If the printer does not recognise the accessory after fitting, contact our GenieCare™ Expert Support team — we can help with driver configuration, firmware checks, and tray assignment setup. Note that GenieCare™ Expert Support is remote guidance only and does not include on-site physical installation.
