What does HP+ mean for this printer?

The 4002dne is an HP+ model. When you set it up it is linked to an HP account and needs to stay connected to the internet. In return you get HP's cloud and security features through the HP Smart app. Our GenieCare™ team can help you through the setup.

Does this printer scan, copy or have Wi-Fi?

No to both. The 4002dne is a print-only printer, and it connects by Gigabit Ethernet or USB — there is no built-in Wi-Fi. Phones and tablets can still print to it over the same network using AirPrint, Mopria or the HP Smart app.

Can I print from my iPhone, iPad or Android phone?

Yes. Apple AirPrint works with no drivers or apps, and Mopria (Android) is built into most modern Android phones. The printer just needs to be on the same network as your phone or tablet. The HP Smart app works on both too.
