Installation Notes
Important — fuser units get very hot during normal operation. Always power off the printer and allow the fuser to cool fully before handling. Do not touch the fuser roller surface.
- Power off the printer and disconnect from the mains. Allow at least 30 minutes to cool.
- Open the rear access panel.
- Release the fuser locking levers and slide the old fuser unit out — dispose of responsibly.
- Insert the new fuser unit and engage the locking levers until they click.
- Close the rear panel, reconnect power, and power on.
- No counter reset is needed on this model — run a test print to confirm correct operation.

Warranty
6-month Printer Genie warranty included. This refurbished fuser is covered for refurbishment defects and component failure under normal use for 6 months from date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, incorrect installation, misuse, electrical damage, physical damage, contamination, use in an unsuitable printer, or abnormal wear caused by excessive usage beyond the expected service life.

No — the M401/M425 series doesn't track page counts for maintenance, so there's no reset step after fitting a new fuser.
