Installation Notes
This is a multi-part service — work through each component in turn. Set aside 30–60 minutes for a standalone printer, and a bit longer on the MFP models.
- Power off and unplug the printer. Leave the fuser to cool for at least 30 minutes before touching it.
- Fit the new fuser unit via the right access door — release the locking triggers, withdraw the old unit, slide the new one in.
- Fit the new pickup roller and separation roller, usually reached through the paper tray or its own access panel.
- Fit the new transfer roller, typically found inside the front door near the imaging drum.
- Double-check every panel and tray is properly closed and seated.
- Power the printer back on and reset the maintenance counter from the service menu.
- Print a test page to confirm everything's working as expected.

Warranty
6-month Printer Genie warranty included. This refurbished maintenance kit is covered for refurbishment defects and component failure under normal use for 6 months from date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, incorrect installation, misuse, electrical damage, physical damage, contamination, use in an unsuitable printer, or abnormal wear caused by excessive usage beyond the expected service life.
Full warranty terms are available in our Terms of Service. GenieCare™ Expert Support is separate from the product warranty and covers remote guidance, diagnosis and advice.

Is this the 220V kit?
Yes — this listing is the 220V kit, correct for UK mains (230–240V). The voltage affects the fuser's heating element, so fitting the wrong one can damage the printer. If you're not certain which version your printer needs, check the label on the existing fuser or get in touch before ordering.
Does the maintenance counter need resetting after I fit this?
Yes. Once the kit is fitted, go to Administration > Manage Supplies > Reset Supplies > New Maintenance Kit and select Yes. This tells the printer the service has been done and restarts the page count towards the next one. If you'd rather we talked you through it, GenieCare™ Expert Support covers that — included with your purchase.
Can I just buy the fuser instead of the whole kit?
Yes, the fuser is available as a standalone part if that's the only component at fault and the rollers are fine. If the printer's flagging a general maintenance warning, though, the full kit is the better option — everything gets replaced together and the counter resets for the next interval. Look up the fuser listing on its own, or ask us and we'll point you to it.
