What does HP+ mean for this printer?

The 9019e is an HP+ printer. With HP+ active it is linked to an HP account and needs to stay connected to the internet, and in return you get HP's cloud features through the HP Smart app. Our GenieCare™ team can help you through the setup.

Does this printer have a real fax?

Yes. The 9019e has a built-in fax modem (33.6 kbps) with phone-line ports, so it can send and receive faxes — including colour faxes — as well as print, scan and copy.

Can it scan both sides of a page?

Yes. The 35-sheet automatic document feeder scans two-sided originals by turning each page over, so double-sided documents scan and copy without re-feeding.

Can I print from my iPhone, iPad or Android phone?

Yes. The 9019e supports Apple AirPrint (built into iPhone and iPad — no app or driver needed) and Mopria (built into most modern Android phones), plus the HP Smart app and Wi-Fi Direct for a direct connection without a router.
