Installation Notes

Power off the printer and disconnect from the mains before accessing internal components.

  1. Power off the printer and disconnect from the mains.
  2. Remove the target tray fully from the printer to access the pickup roller assembly.
  3. Release the old pickup roller — the roller is clipped onto a shaft above the tray aperture. Slide or unclip as required by the specific variant.
  4. Ensure correct orientation before fitting the new roller — the rubber surface must face the paper stack.
  5. Clean adjacent feed surfaces with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol if contaminated.
  6. Reassemble and run 5–20 test prints from the tray to confirm stable feeding.
