    Is This the Right Part?

    Paper not picked up from the cassetteIf the machine turns but no sheet is drawn from the stack — or pickup is intermittent and it reports a jam at tray entry — the pickup roller is the first thing to check. Worn rubber loses the grip needed to lift the top sheet from the tray. Multiple sheets feeding at onceIf two or more sheets pull through together, the separation (reverse) roller AF03-2094 is the likely cause. Pickup, feed and separation rollers wear together and are usually replaced as a set.
    Recurring jams at tray entryJams happening repeatedly as paper leaves the cassette are almost always worn feed rollers.     Install Notes

    1. Power off and unplug the machine.
    2. Withdraw the paper cassette and access the paper-feed unit.
    3. Release the pickup roller from its shaft — free the retaining clip and slide the roller off. Note the orientation before fitting the new roller.
    4. Clean the adjacent feed and separation rollers with a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol if contaminated, and replace them too if worn.
    5. Reassemble, reload the cassette and run 5–20 test prints to confirm stable feeding.
