    Frame or roller? Samsung supplies this as "Frame Base-Pick Up" — the moulded carrier with the pickup roller mounted on it. If only the rubber has worn, a bare roller may be all you need and is usually cheaper. If the frame itself is cracked, or the roller is moulded in and cannot be separated, this is the part. Contact us and we will help you work out which.

    Is This the Right Part?

    Paper not picking up from the cassetteThe printer tries and the sheet stays put. A glazed pickup roller has lost the grip needed to lift it. Repeated jams at the cassetteJams reported at the tray rather than further along the paper path point at the pickup assembly.
    Frame cracked or roller looseThese frames go brittle with age. A cracked carrier lets the roller sit at the wrong angle, and no amount of cleaning will fix that.     It is more involved than a bare roller swap, since the frame sits behind the cassette opening and usually needs a side panel off. Straightforward for an engineer; allow a bit of time if you are doing it yourself.
