Why it happens (the 30-second version)

A small plastic cam lever drops the pick-up roller onto the paper for every page. Push the tray home too hard and it snaps, so the roller never turns and no sheet is picked up — the printer then reports “No Paper” even with a full tray. Worn pick-up rollers add slipping on top. The repair kit replaces the cam lever, rollers and separation pad together.

Why does my HL-2130 say “No Paper” when the tray is full?

The feeder cam lever engages the pick-up roller on every page. When it snaps or slips off, the roller never turns, so no sheet is picked up and the printer reports the only thing it knows. Cleaning the rollers alone won’t fix it if the cam has gone.

Do I need any tools?

Just a small screwdriver. The rollers and pad clip in from the tray opening; the cam lever is easiest with the side panel off (one screw).

What if it still won’t feed after new rollers?

Then it’s the cam lever — new rollers can’t engage without it. The repair kit includes the cam lever as well as the rollers and pad.
