Brother HL-2250DN Jamming When Printing 2-Sided (Duplex)?

When the HL-2250DN jams on 2-sided (duplex) jobs but single-sided printing is mostly fine, the tray feed parts are worn. Duplex pulls each sheet back through a second time, so rollers and a separation pad that just about cope one-sided can’t manage the return pass — and the sheet jams on the flip.

What’s happening inside

The pickup roller grips the top sheet and the separation pad holds the rest back, so one clean sheet feeds. Duplex then feeds that sheet a second time to print the reverse. A worn roller and glazed pad that just manage a single pass slip on the return, so the sheet stalls and jams mid-duplex. A slipped feeder cam lever (part LY2579001) adds the “No Paper” error with a full tray.
